Summary of the book
Lydia, like many young people has a dream, and in the beginning she simply loves and enjoys what she does. Then she begins to compare herself with others who are much more experienced than she is, and becomes more and more unhappy. The joy is gone, replaced by anxiety, jealousy and a low sense of self worth.
Throughout the story, Lydia learns to realize that each person is unique and has a particular part to play in this larger journey we call life..
